How do I delete my Waypoint account?

I want to delete this current account because I have another Xbox profile on the same email and want to use that one. The weird thing is, I deleted PackAttack2018 on my Xbox but it still remains here. Is there anyway to delete my PackAttack2018 account here, and then use my other profile that has the same email to have a new account?

Did you completely close your Xbox Live/Microsoft account or just remove it from your Xbox?

Because if you closed it, everything associated with it (including your Waypoint profile) should go away.
But if you only removed it from your Xbox, I would assume that means it still exists, meaning that, by extension, your current Waypoint profile still exists.
Link to instructions on closing your Microsoft account.

You can’t. You sign out of your account and use the email and PW for your new account. There is no way your new GT has the same email as this one. That’s literally impossible.

Removing an account from your console doesn’t delete the account, it just removes it from your console.

Man I swear it is on the same email with the same password. I didn’t make a new one to make a new profile, I just deleted it on my Xbox and made a new one with the same email and password. Meaning I’ll have to completely close out my account as noted in the comment by EMPEROR N0VA01. So now I’m puzzled as to how I did it!

Yea I looked into it, I’m not going to be able to since I have my New Xbox profile on the same email. HTF did I manage to do that?

Is there anyway to simply delete my Waypoint account alone?

Due to the way that Microsoft accounts are set up, it’s simply not possible to have more than one gamertag associated with the same email address and password (as Snickerdoodle noted above). Each gamertag will be associated with a different email and password. Waypoint accounts / Microsoft Accounts / Xbox Live Accounts are essentially the same thing. Your account here is built up using your existing Microsoft / XBL account so the only way to delete it is to delete your entire Microsoft account.

What is the gamertag you are looking to switch to?
And please don’t post multiple times in a row, you can use the edit button if you need to add more information

I want to switch to the gamertag: S 1 1 7 XxXxXxX

PackAttack2018 is on the same exact email, I SWEAR. At least I’m 99.9% positive it is. This is what I did, I had an adult account on my Xbox One Elite, which had a bunch of passwords I forgot to it and some other stuff. So I deleted it, and made a new CHILD account, as well as an adult account to go with it. The child account has the same password as the adult PackAttack2018 account. The child account is S 1 1 7 XxXxXxX. The new adult account has a totally different email and password. But I would bet 25,000,000 Halo Reach credits that the child account has the EXACT same email and password associated with the PackAttack2018 adult account. There is that 0.1% of doubt because… Well… Because god only knows, there is always the chance I’m wrong. But that is such a little piece of doubt, that is a legendary occurrence in my mind. So after all that, does that clear it up at all? If not I’m going to have to contact Microsoft to figure out what I did, and how in the world I did it. I mean I’m guessing it’s not possible to have two emails with the same name and password under the same company? Right?

(P.S. Sorry about the constant posting instead of editing messages, kind of a bad habit on forums.)

It’s 100% absolutely not possible for 2 gamertags to share the same email address. For sure you can use the same password, but each account will use a completely different email address. You just need to figure out what address / password combination is used to login to each account

I went to my Microsoft email, and found that PackAttack2018 is connected to it. But it makes no sense, then what email is S 1 1 7 XxXxXxX connected to? This is officially not a Halo Waypoint topic anymore. Looks like I’ll have to go to Microsoft. I say this because both PA2018 and S117XxX are both on the same email, even though it is not possible. Yea, I know, sounds pretty dumb when it seems so obvious that the answer is that it is impossible. Meaning the new child account has to be on a different email, but when I made it I used the same email as PackAttack2018, and password. But it worked so I’m really confused. Is there a way to post pictures on here so I can prove it?

I DID IT!!! Turns out there was a glitch in the system that allowed me to make two emails on the same account. I KNEW I WAS RIGHT!!! But thanks for the help. I went to Microsoft, and BANG BANG BOOOOM. I was done.

I will say I’ll miss that sweet Halo 5 armor I rocked for a while.

I can 100% guarantee you that you did not “glitch the system” and have two GTs on one email. You have two separate emails for those GTs. Maybe it’s the same main bit with different domains or mostly the same (ie name and numbers vs just name) at the same domain. But it is literally impossible for you to have made two gamertags on one email.
