Click on “My Profile” and then go to “Modify Avatar”

you change your avatar by going to your profile (it is the button that says “my profile” and is located under the halo news and merchandise buttons).
then you go to “modify avatar” and that it in the “personal profile” section.
click the “get new avatar” button and find an avatar.
when youve selected an avatar select the save button at the bottom of the page.
and now youve done it! you have changed your avatar!

To clarify, if this isn’t clear to everyone reading, you can’t have your own custom picture. You have to pick from the pre-chosen avatar pics.
