After opening the req packs, and buying 2 golds JUST to have some extra customization, it turns out there’s no location for me to change my emblems or playercard background. Where can this be done?
You have to do it on the Xbox One version of Halo 5

You can also do it here on Waypoint - if you go to your Waypoint profile there is a “Customise Spartan” button just next to your Spartan Image, click that and it will launch the customisation section.

Waypoint only allows you to customize armor, helmet, visor, colors, and gender, though. They really should add everything to it, like stances, assassinations, emblems, service tag, etc.

That stuff isn’t really what bringing Forge and customs to PC was all about though, it’s to give forgers a better and more comfortable environment to build and test maps before sharing. If they have plans to bring the full Halo experience to PC no doubt customisation will come, but that just doesn’t seem to be on the cards right now

Yeah, I know. It just would have been a nice feature. It would get them more REQ pack sales as well, I think. I doubt the original poster will ever buy another REQ pack. He only did because he didn’t know he couldn’t use most of the stuff. As for the full version of Halo 5 on PC, I don’t think they will bring it over, but I’m sure they will bring the future Halo games to PC. Anyway, it would only benefit them (and PC players) to update Waypoint spartan customization with more options. Either way, I’m certainly not complaining about it as I’m content with just being able to play custom games and make maps.
You’re correct in that I didn’t know you couldn’t change anything besides armor/colors etc, I opened all of the packs and got no armor, or stances and warzone weapons that are pointless to have in Halo 5: Forge. I got the two gold packs, and I did wind up getting a helmet and a stance, even if it was ugly. It would be nice to have it opened up more. I get that it’s not the full experience at all, but I don’t see the need to limit customization and not have the ability to change stances/playercards etc.
