how do i become a better slayer in warzone?

Seriously i can hold a 1.1 in arena if really wanted to sweat it out… but i just can’t wrap my head around warzone! Maybe its the fact that you can shot from one base into the other, or the fact that Spartans have shields which in my opinion makes killing in this particular gametype to be 20 times harder then even btb. Getting really sick of going 5-20. Shame because really want to like this mode. And the req payout is nice.

EDIT: yes i understand warzone assault is a option. But with the exploit and the fact it doesn’t gett supported the way normal warzone does makes it a bummer

Warzone is all about spawning the right reqs at the right time. Try spawning carbines req 2 needeler req 3 rail gun req 4 and so forth. And use precision weapons because of all the sight lines. Also power ups are more useful then weapons and just think about the angles you are taking.

Unlock the DMR… DONE.
It helps to memorize ALL of the boss spawns in order to take them out before your enemies, maybe even steal some of theirs.

Once you got some BR variants you should be good, just work on your aim with a BR, know when to NOT shoot people (sneaking around to take the armory is better than shooting everyone you see and alerting them to your position.

I’m the opposite. I can’t play Arena to save my life. I have a K/D of 1.8 in Warzone but have a 0.89 in Arena. I am completely lost in that game type. Too many amazing players in Arena.

Generally I don’t get a lot of kills on Warzone either, because I focus on objectives, like capturing bases and killing bosses. I really need to be focused on getting kills, if I want to to go for more than my usual 10 to 15 kills.

Warzone is a snowball. If you want to get a lot of kills, it’s important to have a good start. Spend your REQs early, get a Needler, an Energy Sword, a Shotgun or a Ghost and try to get lots of early kills. That way your energy level will raise and you will be able to get good loadout and power weapons before most of your enemies.

I find WZ to be chaotic, 70% of the time I can never make it from my spawn point to any decent cover, let alone boss hunt. also radar’s too small to be of much use, by the time someone shows up on your radar, they can spartan charge you.

REQ’s, REQ’s and more REQ’s.
Stay away from the sub and assault rifle, Magnum is your best friend until DMR, or BR if you prefer.
All REQ’s are useful in some way, underrated early game weapons are definitely the Carbine and Plasma Pistol, I find weapons like the Needler and Energy Swords actually better off as a late game weapons when players aren’t grouped up trying to capture armoury’s so much…you can get surrounded very easily. The Lawgiver (shotgun) is great early game with its increased range for the medium spaces in armouries.
Ghosts are always a great option for cheap cost, especially Ultra’s.
Late game just depends on preference and what you have available, if you’re accurate Snipers are a godsend with a ton of available ammo, or you can go for a Saw (The Answer is the obvious choice). If you just want kills, stay away from tanks, warthogs and any launcher unless it’s the SPNKR Prime. Not enough ammo.

Hopefully I helped a bit, it’s all preference though and what suits you better as a player.

This, it also helps quite a bit to know exactly when they spawn, too. For preparation.

I would get an effective loadout for every REQ level sorted out first. When I hit REQ lvl 5, I go silenced BR, silenced SMG and advanced sensors and I will almost always get the jump on people and rack up multikills. REQ lvl 8 I bring in recon DMR with extended barrel, SMG with energy bayonet and upgraded thrusters. Then I can run around bases instant-meleeing people, and also get perfect kills at ridiculously long ranges.

Just try and sort something out where you feel comfortable and are good at using the weapons, and I would definitely recommend the ones I just listed above.
