How do I activate the ODST 3P splitscreen glitch?

Recently I tried to play a firefight in halo odst with 4 friends, but as you guys probably already know, firefight only allows 2 players to play co-op.
I heard there was a glitch that lets you play 3 player co-op in firefight, how do I activate this glitch?

Are you playing on 360 or MCC?

360 version, look on Youtube for Halo 3 splitscreen co op glitch. Follow that guide for ODST firefight as it is essentially the same process.

I do not know about MCC ODST but I can confirm it works for 360 ODST.

Halo 3 is easy. But ODST does not know exactly what to do. Do you have a guide that is a video?

Like others said, look it up at YouTube, but I heard that the glitch could crash the game.
