Okay, can someone please tell me how custom challenges work? I mean, I’ve tried to make custom ones but whenever I thought I completed one, it just says that I’ve failed it after the allotted time given. It doesnt even show the progress bar updating. Am I missing something?
Can someone please be kind enough to shed some light on this issue I’m having? Thank you.
Are you sure you are actually completing the challenge in the right game settings?
For example, if you set a custom challenge for Firefight Matchmaking, it needs to be done in the Score Attack, FF Doubles or FF Arcade playlist.

Hmmm I don’t usually make the challenge in Firefight. Usually in multiplayer. Should you actually see the custom challenge on the website updating as you go along? I tried doing one in multiplayer with me getting 20 headshots in multiplayer matchmaking but for some reason, I cant see the progress bar going up.

If you refresh the page, it will update automatically, it doesn’t update live from the game.
Also, Custom Challenges will NEVER show up in the game, the are strictly website & Waypoint app based.

For some reason i dont seem to be collecting the credits from custom challenges.

The credits are added without notice, if you turn in a custom challenge, then start up a custom game and end it, you will notice your cR will go up.
They didn’t have time to add UI changes for custom challenges.
I did a bunch of custom challenges and turned them in. I stopped playing before any of them expired which is when you get the payout right? logged my credit count at 1869101. Then i hopped on Reach today and saw no increase. I played a game and then looked at my credits and the only increase was from the game i just played.

Did they actually show up as complete on your challenge history or expired?
Also, they are sometimes, delayed in rewarding them.
Yep i got 1st place on all of them. I did them like two days ago… Is there that much of a delay?

Ah, maybe not that much of a delay, could you try doing another Custom Challenge quickly and see if you get the cR for this one?

You can hit turn-in on a challenge when it is complete and it will award the credits instantly, it will speed up the process we are doing now.
Okay my credits are at 1882690.
Turn in challenge for 213 cR.
Lets see how it looks in five minutes or so. When i clicked turn in this popped up - [Are you sure you want to turn in this challenge (your credits will only be awarded once the challenge has expired)?]

The other day I set up 3 matchmaking custom challenges. I was playing with a guest. All the progress for the challenges was based off the guest stats not mine. Anyone know why? Or how to be certain your stats will be awarded towards the challenge and not the guest? My friend is terrible at reach so it took me a long time to complete these challenges.

Sadly that is a bug, it tracks the guest instead of the first player, they are aware of it I believe.
I made the challenges but they don’t appear in my halo reach menu on my Xbox I NEED HELP HOW DO THEY WORK can u actually earn them?
