What would be different? The pros and cons?
The game would have shipped in a complete state, or at least more complete. Can’t see any cons.
We would still have trash armor abilities.
We would have five different remakes of Sword Base, all with that same damn vent room.
We would have Infection by now.
We would not have had to go through Halo 4, as a whole.
We’d have Halo-Destiny, in that case, assuming that the relationship between Bungie and MS remained contentious on them being forced to make Halo.
People seem to forget that they wanted to end Halo with 3, I remember seeing some cut content being discovered heavily implying that the last level was intended to be a suicide mission.

So in other words, microsoft is milking the franchise, who would have thunk it.

They see it in the same way as Nintendo does with Zelda, Mario, and all others. And how Sony does with their own IPs.
Milking is synonymous with exclusive, recognizable brand names on a console. Didn’t you know?

Please don’t make much sense in the forums, peoples heads might explode.
It’d be complete at least. If they kept Armor Abilities, they’d likely have tweaked them to where they only appear in Social playlists and leave them out of Arena. I’d imagine Armor Lock would be out, Bloom would be either removed or toned back.
We’d have a more simplistic but more fun campaign and amazing graphics with a more grounded art style and better customization, more than likely re-adding armor piece customization for Elites.
We’d have Forge World 2.0 with many of the features of Halo 5 Forge and perhaps more.
Invasion would be expanded into a larger mode similar to Warzone with AI Marines/ODSTs on the Spartan team and Grunts/Jackals on the Elite team.
Firefight would probably have more options like maybe an ODST mode, Tower Defense features similar to Gears 3 Horde, and an expansion to Versus that plays like a MOBA or something.
Whatever they did, I’m sure it would have been an epic game bursting with high-quality content that set the standard for this generation just like CE, 2, 3, and Reach.
- We would still have Armor Abilities - We would still have Sprint - We would have more DLC that fragments the fanbase, probably even more. Most importantly, the community would still complain and say the 2nd previous game was the best game ever and the previous game was pretty good.
Seriously, not much would change. Time to drop the nostalgia goggles.

I actually would like to see what Halo would look like on the Tiger engine. (I would hate the physics though.)
I would want it to have the visual aspect from Tiger and the psychical aspects from blam! that would be neat.

Not really. Bungie went with the AA amd sprint vibe because Reach was their swansong. Their approach for Reach would be very different if it wasn’t their last Halo game.
Well, we probably wouldn’t of had halo reach, they wanted to test what they can do with halo before leaving it…
The Req system wouldn’t exist, and that would be amazing.
I think if bungie made a new halo game, it would be better than halo 4, but I don’t believe it wouldn’t be as fun or balanced as halo 5. I do believe halo would have much better graphics and design under bungie though
Well it would probably look a lot like Destiny.
Agreed. And I guess it would be like modern graphics Halo 3.

Really because they continued sprint and perks with destiny. I think if Bungie made Halo 5, the mechanics would be closer to destiny but at the same time there would be more playlists and a more epic feeling campaign. However, it would not tend to the competitive group. Bungie are who eliminated equal starts, not 343i. I am happy Bungie didn’t continue with Halo, only reason being it would be destiny with a Halo skin

Preach it.
The Master Chief Collection would of been finished at launch and it wouldn’t have been rushed.
