I recently have obtained Helioskrill and I have been really excited about it. My friend told me that he got his out of a REQ pack and basically what I did was pointless. Now knowing that you could get it through a pack I wonder how many people have gotten it by taking the challenge(it’s only a challenge if Legendary is not easy for you), or how many have gotten it through a pack.
I don’t have anything against people who got it through a pack, but if you got it through a pack and then continued or started to do complete the games on Legendary, then congrats to you!
I’m almost done all 4 halos (just need 7 more missions) but I unlocked it through a pack before I could. It’s whatever for me now, I can’t deny the fact that the armor is good looking even without it’s “badge of honor” status.

I finished Halo CE on legendary, I’m almost done with Halo 2, did the 2 first missions in Halo 4 so… I’m not prepared for the gravemind mission in Halo 2😭

Legendary campaigns all beaten with the help of some good friends. It was hard and incredibly frustrating at times (H2 MLG Jackal snipers), but popping in H5 immediately after beating H4 and seeing Helioskrill waiting for me, was/is well worth it.
Plus, spamming gold Reqs in order to hopefully get lucky and find it, isn’t a guaranteed way. Helioskrill could very well be one of the last things that some people unlock. Beating all Legendary campaigns, while tedious and difficult, guarantees that you’ll get the armor.

I would’ve, but I had to delete the MCC in order to have space on my xbox for Halo 5. besideds, didnt like half the people just use the glitch to get legendary status on all the missions?

I think It’s funny how I earned it. I was grinding through legendary missions and had 14 more missions to go while I went back to h5 to grind for my former company just to receive helioskrill from a req pack… Kinda defeats the purpose

Did all on the 360. Then MCC came out was going through them again on XBOX1. Got on to H5, played tons, and got it through the REQ system!
