How did you get MarkVI?

Hey Spartans,

Sorry for not searching, but I’m bored on break and have been curious…

how did you get your Mark VI armor?

I ask because I unlocked mine, but don’t know how. I don’t remember opening it in a REQ pack? How common is it? The helmet and armor both say legendary…

This. You can get both versions of Mark VI (Normal and Scared) by playing the first mission of Halo 2 on normal.

There is a MVI in the req system, but it is a Mythic item. They are hard to get unfortunately.

If you complete certain requirements on the MCC, you are awarded the MVI (Gen1) and MVI (Gen1) Scared. Also, in case you didn’t know, if you beat the MCC on Legendary, you get the Helioskril (however you spell it) armor. It is well worth it.

Thanks all! I’ll take a look and see. I noticed under collection the body piece had 3 stars next to it.

MCC playing 1 mission on CE will get 1. the scarred is from 1 mission on H2. i dont really know the missions or difficulty as i beat every one on legendary, so i have helioskrill, however i use mark vi scarred. you can also open a req as i got it there too

i think helioskrill is hideous as most of H5 armor is

I just unlocked Mk Vi ( no gen or scarring ) from a silver pack on Sunday.

Technically, it is just the Arbiter’s armor adapted for the S-IVs. And besides, it doesn’t have much to do with the matter.

Just play a game in TMCC for the scarred version, complete “Cairo Station” for the normal version. No specific difficulties or anything else.

Considering one of the 343i armor sets has a fish tank helmet.

No. Absolutely not. Helioskril is a diamond in the rough here.

I really like Helioskrill. And a lot of 343’s designs, to be honest.

you can get the gen1 mark 6 scarred from playing the MCC but there some variants that you get through req packs
