i have try to use the same trick to kill escharum on legendary but i have try out to look if the first strike upgrade from the grapplehook if can sent him away to the roof and sadly that was not working.
and maybe i have done something wrong who knows or i was missing something that are things a true gamer is looking in to also.
same with bassus i have try to use the sniper back trick to kill him but it has fail hard.
same with the Ghost to splat him was also not working.
and the warthog is also a good fail.
so maybe i have do some things wrong or you cant do it at all.

I think I just used a Rushdown Hammer on Bassus (I don’t remember where I found it, but it was before I fought the HVT to unlock it).
If I were to fight him again though, I’d probably bring the Arcane Sentinel Beam with me.

i am sure going to try to defeat all the boss on legendary again but then only with assassinations if there add in the campaign mode that is something i really wane try out on all the boss in the game only monitor is not going to work but the other bosses is something i really going to try out when there add it in the game.
i have test today a lot off things out on 2 diffrend save file’s.
and on 1 save file that has 100% compleet is notting working at all.
the rashdown hammer is not moving from its place where all the HVT weapons are staying always on there target spot,
have try it also from far away what is also not working at all.
then on my second save file what i was playing for the 6th time the campaign story [since i wane try some new and crazy things out at bassus and some other boss more]
is the area where the HVT is location has a kill barrier more if you go there when you need to go to the dig side more.
I didn’t get the Rushdown Hammer from the HVT.
I’m not sure where I got it from, but I must have picked it up from some Brute, possibly in the mission before Bassus.
Wherever I got it from, now that I think about it, I might’ve shot Bassus a few times with some non-power weapon before using the Rushdown Hammer.
i have beat bassus today with the scorpoin tank on legendary. not with the tank gun easter egg but with the real scorpoin tank and it works super good it was little good thinking how to get 2k valor points but its easy to do to get 2k valor points before you enter the dig side.
and i am trying soon with Escharum to defeat him on legendary mode with something fun and crazy also what each player can do also.
and i think and maybe not know it 100% yet first i most do it also to see if its working good or if its become a fail.
but i hope to defeat him in few sec’s without destroy the 4 power core’s.
I’d like to know if it works, because Escharum is a nightmare.
I flew around the arena with the grapplehook. Whenever Escharum lunged at me, I used the thrusters to dodge him then back to the grapplehook. I shot him with whatever weapons I could grab as I flew by. Escharum eventually died when I fired a rocket directly at him.
How’d you switch without him catching up to you?
I immediately swapped as soon as I was about to land. In the hallways where the guns are, whenever I saw X to pick one up, I did and used it until it ran out of ammo.

Basically just kept swinging back and forth and whittled his health down. Took many tries and plenty of trial and error.
The outer circular corridor has lots of power weapons.
I learned how to quickly alternate between the abilities to basically never be without one.
Thrust Grapple Thrust Grapple.
I found the trick to use with the grapple isn’t to aim far away, but somewhat half or even a quarter of the distance, ceiling of course, and then get momentum to fly past the anchor point. Remember to look where you want to swing to, can change direction mid-air to go around corners.
With enough distance you can use it for the electrical damage.
Other than that the wall is useless in the hammer stage.
I also killed him rather fast towards the end with a Needler and the wall, think he had one fifth left of health and the needler seemed to stun him with the explosions.

and if its a big fail i let you also know that it was not working.

but that has fail sadly hard.
so that means that there almost no fast way’s to defeat Escharum on legendary in a few sec’s sadly.
