> How would you rate it 1 to 10?
~ 6.5
To be honest I kind of like it (WZFF) more than Warzone or Warzone Assault.
> Did you like it better than classic Firefight?
By classic I assume you mean ODST Firefight over Reach Firefight. There were differences.
I think I would say I like WZFF better, but to be fair they’re all a little different and I like the fact that WZFF is as different from the others as it is. It also plays fairly well with the implementation of the REQ system minus the fact that REQ Power Weapons are criminally under-powered per their cost compared to vehicle costs within it. But I wonder how a classic version would have played with the REQ system – I suppose it’s possible that it would have been tweaked in order to play even better than the past versions, but we’ll never know.
With that said, I actually wish that Halo 5 rotated the Heroic and Legendary difficulty on a weekly basis and between a more classic Firefight experience (like ODST/Reach) and the current WZFF experience. Having both available during a week would be pretty neat and then I could let the difficulty I was in the mood for direct what version I ended up going into.
> What was your favorite variation of the gamemode: Heroic, Legendary or Mythic?
Heroic; though, when I want more of a challenge I very much appreciate and favor Legendary. I stay away from Mythic because I don’t have a group I play FF with and I’m just not that big of a fan of Firefight.
> Whats your favorite memory of this gamemode?
Throwing myself into the thick of the battle round after round during a Heroic match and doing so with only Loadout weapons plus whatever I find lying around on the ground (because that’s what I mainly do in Heroic) then to be completely surprised at the end of the match to discover I never died. I find that feeling pretty awesome, since I usually end up dying due to all the fairly impossible situations I often put myself into with weak weapons.
> And finally, did you find it fun?
It certainly has its moments, but firing rounds into AI and more so the bullet sponge AI isn’t really my idea of true Halo “fun”. I do appreciate it as a warm-up mode, plus somewhere I can go to earn a decent amount of XP and RP in a timely fashion while not getting all that frustrated, and yet aim for a top finishing score position too. Not to mention, the Heroic mode is a place where I don’t mind giving my controller over to my daughter to play under my account if I need to step away for a bit with the goal of returning in short order – otherwise, she’d simply load up her own account and play.
