How did 343 GS survive? Need a full explanation
I’m guessing you’re referring to Chakas? Well, I think that may have been the original 343 GS and the one we see from CE->3 is just a fragment. Or they may have just looked so similar that ONI decided to call him 343.
Simple. He dust. But chakas did however as th duplicate/twin of 343 guilty. So he did and didn’t survive. I reckon that the Liberian split his personality and memories into two separate monitors to suit her plans “visions” of rue future. afterall the didact himself said that he couldn’t the ends of his wife plans.
So yeah guilty spark.survivied why and how I don’t know but you can bet every buck that the Liberian had a hand in it.

He doesn’t refer to himself as 343-GS, but a data readout confirms he is.
But yes, it is implied that the 343-GS we fought in the games was a fragment. Besides, he was completely destroyed by the chief.

Not exactly…
Chakas is eventually turned into a monitor, this we know. Additionally, during the story Chakas notes that the ghost and spirits of many others are in him as he’s a monitor (this is when he and the Didact talk about removing the imprint of the mysterious child mentioned in the story). That is also reenforced when he mentions that he had become like the First Human with the finger full of souls.
What you are referencing is when Chakas says I see from your records that one of me had cause you some trouble in the past and then helped you. Followed shortly after the words how like us. The biggest issue, that I don’t think is brought up as much is that this is a ship from the Halo/Shield Alliance, so the voice we hear being identified at the end as 343GS could actually just be the voice being matched from whatever records are on the ship, but it still seems to suggest that the 343GS from 1-3 is still gone and that this is something different.
