How did Serina know what year the SoF woke up?

In the comic Something has Happened, Serina initiates final dispensation in 2537. Yet, at the start of Halo Wars 2, she manages to have left a recording explaining how long the Spirit of Fire had been asleep, the status of crew and ship upon awakening, and more. How could she have possibly known all of this 22 years before she made the recording? This is bothering me…

Simple, she had a preset recording that filled in the number of years they were asleep. It isn’t difficult to do now, even your coffee maker can do it.

well if i remember, she actually was around for years after the time she was to be terminated. its possible she actually destroyed herself before everyone woke on the Spirit of Fire.

never made this up but from what i remember, i assumed she killed herself shortly before arriving but i never said this was true but only “if i remember correctly”
