How did I not get a perfection?

I know for a fact that I got 15 kills as I checked right before my last one and never died. How is my score 15 but my K/D spread +14?

My computer won’t pull up the link but just a question, did you by any chance accidentally betray someone at any point?

Good thinking, I didn’t betray my teammate nor did anyone have any penalties, which I assume means none of the other team’s players committed suicide either.

Was there a black-screen in the game? If there is a black-screen in a game, then sometimes the game gives you a point for a kill you got just before the black-screen, but not the kill itself so the game wouldn’t give you a perfection.

Blackscreens do NOT reset perfections. Never have.

Blackscreens can make kills and deaths no count. A kill or a Death shortly before a blackscreen has a chance of dissappearing.

Greatly appreciate everyone’s help here. There was a black screen towards the middle of the match. Wish i was actively checking to see if it made a difference in the score. SatansReverence you don’t think that would have effected it right? I didn’t think it would and frankly completely forgot about that until it was mentioned.

After re-reading this thread it sounds like it must have been the black screen. I can’t remember whether I got a kill immediately before it but that’s what must have happened.

Thanks for the help guys… hopefully I get another shot at it.

look under the combat tab. you only had 14 kills, one shy of a perfection, sorry dude, i couldn’t tell you where the extra point came from

Black screens reset killings sprees, counters, ect. I’d imagine that it’d reset a perfection also. It’s happened to me before, I just assumed that was the cause.

Sorry Tomo, SatansReverence is right. Sprees are reset, yes, but you don’t lose your perfections if you have one. You just end up with a perfection minus the Riot.

I could’ve sworn I got over 15 kills with no deaths in a game but the black screen came up halfway. Interesting…
