How did any of this make it past testing

The AR’s effective range is so much higher than it should be right now. It’s way to accurate, the spread is way to small, and it kills way to fast once the shields are gone

Adding to this, the flinch mechanic they for whatever reason felt that halo needed compounds on this. If the AR is going to be this good, and if it is a lot of the more serious players will leave this game for the MCC, you cant have flinch on top of it.

The AR is ridiculous. Halo has always been about the precision weapons and attempting to land a perfect shot and who can make who miss. It’s never been about people holding down the trigger and spraying at people and then saying that an AR takes skill. It doesnt. Hoping around, landing a perfect 4 shot BR on somebody does.

Halo 1 was the pistol
2 and 3 were the BR
reach was the DMR
4 was the lightrifle BR/DMR

Halo is made by the precision weapons. Not people running around spraying. If you are going to add all these new things, you cant change what the -Yoinking!- dominant weapon type is on top of all of this. Stop catering to the casuals. Cater to the people who will play this game for years and not move on when the next shiny new game comes out.

Im not asking for it to. All the precision weapons can be equal

No -Yoink-. It’s about damn time the other weapons became viable too.

on a side note, stop charging in with the br and use your ar, descope (for me) defeats a mid range AR when using a br from the hip every time unless i get ambushed and don’t have time to shoot back

All the weapons need a rof nerf. I dont agree 100% on the damage of the guns needing a nerf. Lowe rof = longer kill time= more need to track target.

Also CE Pistol needs to be in this game.

Remember this is a beta, and a lot longer before release than the majority of betas.
This is testing.

If any particular weapon is overpowered, than that’ll show up in the stats that they’re no doubt collecting.

Also, past the testing phase? Game release is what, 8 - 10 months away? Thieves the testing phase.

I feel like the br burst are to focus as it is i get first couple of shots with ar on someone and then i die before they do and thats because i’m keeping the shots focus on their head while strafing. The AR is effective range is mid to close and thus i even try shooting across truth bridge an couldn’t hit the person on the other side that easily so its range is fine in my view. Another thing i notices is frag and Plasma grande are really like min nucks and have a really big area damage i believe. Though this just be a personal problem as they feel almost as bad as reach beta grande were at the time.

We are testing right now… That’s what the beta is for. It isn’t passed testing.

This is the testing phase lol, AR needs more spread at longer ranges. It should naturally tear up the BR in short.
