So were getting… at LEAST 7 “new” characters in Halo 5 (3 in blue team , and 4 in Locke’s.). Not to mention that were probably going to get quite a few new characters as well. In addition to all the character’s introduced in halo 4. But… when I thought about this, I can’t help but think… Can 343 do it? ALL the characters in blue team and Locke’s team could have a entire game to them self’s and stand tall. But with all the characters… can we really do them all justice? their is just so many things going on when you think about it. The story (which is mainly centered around John) can’t revolve around all these characters and give them the game, but can we at least give them deep characterization?
For me, I’m really imagining it revolving around John and blue team saving the day, and the story focusing on them… But realistically… that’s not going to happen. Its probably going to be about John and a bit of Locke. But all these new characters… I’m really hoping the writers at 343 did them justice and made them deep and intricate to the story. For now at least… Ill put my “faith” in the writers (They have made a AWESOME story so far, so I have no reason to doubt them (and neither do you storywise).).
To summarize my errant thoughts… Do you think 343 can bring in 7 NEW characters and do them the justice they deserve and not just make them “co-op” people with a snippet of dialogue? Because to be honest… I’m a little worried about it.
you offered a great idea and I don’t even think you realize it. Make a game like reach or odst that isn’t about chief and flesh out the characters that don’t get their support in the sun.
I imagine pretty deep into the story’s of the characters seeing how their new, and almost a main character.
well new to the games not to the extended universe. I’m in the middle of glass lands but I didn’t know ghosts of onyx was before it so I’m gonna go pick that up and read it before I finish glass lands
