Each map in Halo 4 has it’s own weapon that can be used for example. Wrap around it can only have a BR but you can use your custom BR but not any other weapons. It’s still the HALO experience we love.
Customizing weapons was never Halo.
> Customizing weapons was never Halo.
I know but HALO 4 DOES so you can’t overkill you opponent With power weapons.
> Customizing weapons was never Halo.
But Halo 4 isn’t going to be the same as the others. The past Halos were Bunige’s games. Halo 4 is 343’s and therefore they should do as they like for their first game. They don’t owe us a Bungie Halo experience, they owe us Halo 4.
BTW: Your idea removes the point of customizable weapons. It would be nice, but there would be no variety, so I don’t think that it would work.

Neither were dual-wielding or boarding vehicles

What? Sequels are supposed to improve games. I don’t want to be picking up a battle rifles that are hot pink, and have -Yoinks!- all over them.

But they didn’t destroy the core gameplay…they only added strategy and skill.

Then expect an entirely different community. The reason I, along with many other, jumped on the Halo bandwagon so early was because it didn’t have customization. It was simple, there was nothing to it. There weren’t 10 different types of Assault Rifles and 12 types of medium ranged weapons.
There were 1 of each.

Er… yes it was. You ever play Halo 2 or 3?
It wasn’t part of the original
> It wasn’t part of the original
I don’t understand this community.
Most of use want change, we just don’t want change that is essentially turning Halo into call of duty.
Customizable weapons doesn’t turn it into call of duty.
Don’t like your idea.

Hes saying when they were introduced, they were new ideas
But regardless if customizable weapons makes halo more similar to CoD, it’s still a game feature that conflicts with the competitive level playing field in the rest of hte series, which is I think what everyone’s trying to say
