How could you not enjoy Firefight?

What, does this not seem fun to you?

I see what you’re saying, a lot of enemies are damage sponges and overpowered. Also the increasing respawn timer makes it even harder.

There are enjoyable aspects though. It’s satisfying to get high killing sprees against infantry opponents.

i find it more fun than odst or reach firefight lol there are a lot of tweaks 343 gotta do but its still fun, Unless we talking bout the odst vidmaster for firefight. even though that -Yoink- was hell it was hell fun.

i thoroughly enjoy playing firefight. It’s a team based mode (unlike reach) and you have to work together. Nothing is better than getting that last kill with 2 seconds left or holding out with only a sliver of life left on a core or base capture. Granted those types aren’t always fun, i understand that tweaks are needed. None of the issues with any of the rounds or bosses keeps me from enjoying the game

Firefight is great, however it develops terrible habits for PvP. I always have the hardest time for the first 3 or 4 matches after switching from FF to Slayer.

To me it helps my reflexes for when the “swarm” happens. Pick up multiple targets, have you next target picked up while you finish the one you are fighting.

I think if the respawn timer and respawn distance were addressed, along with limiting the numbers of knights/hunter on the map to the same as the round number (round 1 = 1 knight max, round 3 = 3 max. etc.) would really grant a nice time to test how the AI difficulty should be evaluated without making Warzone Spartan Op- I mean ‘firefight’ a pushover. The mode is just to REQ reliant and punishing for my palette.

I still think this gamemode should be renamed and a true dedicated Firefight lobby with customizable options and no reliance on microtansactions should be implemented in Halo 6.

Did anyone notice something fishy about the Phaeton’s health?

I saw it jump right back up. That was hilarious (from a third party perspective of course) yet it shouldn’t happen at all.

I’m not talking to Firefight anymore until she apologizes.

The best part for me is when the knights come into the garage or boss knight spawns, I bring out my smg or lawgiver with an overshield and just have fun blasting off their armor and killing them until I eventually die by a knight sword or a soldier with a lightrifle on the other side of the map but up until that point I have a blast with knight rounds

Just another shining example of 343 not seeming to know the difference between fair and -Yoink- challenge.

Warzone and the Req system are the problems. Here is the solution.

I can’t fight the boss when there are 6+ knights surrounding it! And the worse part is that they respawn more after you kill them off!

What do you mean, it’s totally fair! If you could beat it once, you can beat it a second time /s

Uhm…can you boil that down to it’s basic ingredients?

Stormbreak’s Knights and then the 3 Wardens is brutal. But what in the world happened here??

I don’t like it, mainly because it isn’t an ODST/Reach style FF. I will give it credit, though, that it is good for letting you actually use your REQs instead of spawning them in then dying immediately from something stupid like a camper or a laser who just so happened to be watching the sky where you spawned.

Thats what all the people who complain say “bullet sponge this, death respawn that” well 343 accomplished what they were going for in making firefight difficult. To make people really coordinate and use team work. Go figures,…

The sarcasm is strong in this one.
