I’m torn now. I fell in love with helioskrill armor the first time I saw it but I couldn’t get it in time to see it in the beta. After I completed the legend achievement, I was wait patently until October to finally have the armor. But today my heart broke. Security, the armor I had for halo 3 and reach is finally returning. I don’t know what to do!
Okay, serious face time. I am really glad that security is coming back. Now if fotus returns, I will have all of my normal armor a in one game. So, what armors do you hope make a return or what new armor would you like to see in halo 5? I would love to hear what you guys have to say.

I thought the security armor was a easter egg for the marathon games for the armor was based off the main characters armor. Surprised bungie is allowing it

It’s probably the Halo 4 variant, which does not resemble the Marathon armor in any way.

Halo 4 didn’thave Security Armor. And i had to google it to be sure. Halo 3 and Reach were the only ones with the armor

We haven’t been shown what it looks like so I don’t know where that is coming from. I personally disliked all versions of the SECURITY armor, but I can say without a shadow of a doubt that the 3 and Reach version is not what we will see in Halo 5.

It is confirmed, in so many words. He says that he’s dropping hints about GEN 2 armor yet to be revealed and Security was one of them. Why would they take the time to create armor, drop very blatant hints about it, then not include it in the game?

Bungie doesn’t have a say. It’s design is based off of Marathon but it has no in-universe connection to the Marathon series, it’s Halo. Therefore, 343 can do whatever they want with it.

How can you be so sure that it won’t resemble the previous versions??
