I’m sure you’ll still agree the banshee is currently broken. How do you think it could improve? I think you shouldn’t lose lock on if it rolls or maybe make it not able to flip as much. Maybe make then mantis a hard counter or just improve the AA wraith.

When Halo 5 first came out, I was getting a decent amount of kills with the Banshee… Now though, I can’t seem to get any. So I agree… Something is broken.
My solution is to add a timer every time you evade in the Banshee just like the Phaeton does.
Locked on projectiles should still track you regardless how much times you flip over and over.
Broken as in it’s too powerful? Nah. They’ve ruined enough vehicles in this game, making the Banshee any flimsier would be a disservice. It’s lightly armored and easy to take down with a shred of coordinated fire.

Armour shouldn’t be changed I think it should just have a limit to the flips.

Well it’s lightly armored so its only defense is the maneuverability. If you limit the maneuverability, then you’d need to bump the armor and give yourself a knockoff H3 version.
Now, it’s well balanced. A halfway decent team can take it down with spawn weapons since they’re hitscan.
I agree lock on weapons should still follow you even if you flip or roll.
Just like in Halo 2 anniversary if the lock on missed it would slowly turn around and come back to hit the air vehicle. It has happened to me too often!
All bases should have an EMP to use.

My two ways are to either make the Banshee bomb and/or flips have a cooldown timer, get rid of the Banshee bomb completely, or just have the bomb for the high level Banshee like the Ultra.
3-5 second cool down on banshee flips after every banshee bomb you fire.

The bomb does have a limit. But it’s so low with the ultra you might as well not have one.

People just know what they are doing now. There are less and less scrubs.
I’d disagree. They are extremely easy to take down with the right tools. Railguns are a must.

I think it’s cool down is only slightly faster than the normal banshee. The ultra just has the added feature that the bomb cool down rays when the last bomb fired detonates.
