I just kicked from a game of warzone for betraying a teammate. The thing is I didn’t betray anyone. I highjacked a ghost just as it was running over a teammate. But besides that I thought you had to betray someone in warzone two or three times to get kicked. It said “really you want to betray him three times”. In almost 8000 warzone games that has never happened to me before. Has that happened to anyone else?
Did you have any accidental suicides throughout the game? I believe various forms of misconduct in a match stack on top of each other, resulting in a kick.

I actually didn’t. I’m always super careful and don’t jump off the map that often. I was wondering if maybe the guy I hijacked had run over the same guy a couple of times and somehow when I hijacked him right as he hit the guy the game got confused. The ghost was running through our base several times before I got it.
This has happened to me a few times before, I did a thorough rant about it once. In warzone I’ve accidentally betrayed many people, teleporting lag definitely doesn’t help. But the weird thing is, I only get kicked on accidental betrayals, I will intentionally betray someone if they’ve destroyed my tank whilst I went out to the req station, or if they’ve spartan charged me into a full packed firefight where I die because of them, and I won’t get kicked for running them over on purpose. It really angers me how inconsistent the banhammers are. You can get banned for betrayals in Griffball… that speaks for itself. Today, I was also kicked from the game for being inactive, whilst I was running and shooting at enemies… I mean w.t.f!

The game seriously said “really you want to betray him three times,”? I have been booted for betraying before and never saw a message like that. I’m asking for real, not being snarky.

Yeah i got kicked from Griffball, its so crazy in some games there are many betrayals the Grav Hammer is not a precicion weapon and if you are in range you will die. i never kick people when they do it. i have seen someone run down two players in the space of 10 seconds in firefight during intermission ( Art senpai tag ARTX ) and called him out during the game. but have also accidently run people over with a ghost but said sorry over the mic. i am usually so carfull coz it sucks in firefight when you are all on the same side and someone s being a dingus. but i dont bother kicking people when it askes. Just call em out over the mic and teel them to be more carefull let them know they are doing the wrong thing and they usually pull their socks up.
