Originally, this was to discuss whether or not 343 should fix the custom weapons glitch, hence the first few blurbs. I guess I waited too long to post it. Oh, well. Can’t cry over spilled milk. Now, onto an even more interesting matter: how could 343 make the weapon customization process easier? For me, creating a hybrid weapon is kind of tedious, and I think, that if the feature’s going to stay, it should be made a little easier. As to how this could be done? Possibly by adding three sections in the weapon configuration menu instead of two, so that one is for what the weapon will look like, one is what the weapon will fire, and one is for what version of the weapon chosen I the second slot will be.
Again, this was originally about why 343 should keep the glitch, and I apologize for any confusion the first exchange will cause, but I had planned on bringing this idea up anyways, so I guess this is a good, if not elegant solution.

Really? Where? If they won’t, then they should make it easier to create them somehow.
