I mean, I know that they’re professional, and a significant percentage ARE former Bungie employees, but I can’t help but be nervous about how they’ll implement these new features and how the community will respond.
The reaction from the majority will either make or break it for the next games.

Don’t buy it then, I’m sick of all this negativity. Buy Black Ops 2.
I think they will definetly make a great campaign and story.
I think they have a pretty good potential to get the multiplayer good.
There are a lot of new things, but they are making an effort to balance it all. The AAs, Maps, Specializations, they’re all being balanced and tweaked. Even with this, they are using classic playlists to help ease older players over too.
IMO Im very exited and loving every single thing I hear about Halo 4. I have 100% complete faith there making the right moves and every Halo 4 thing I hear makes me happy that Bungie is gone.
I had all the confidence in the world with them. But now… I don’t really don’t know. It sounds like the MP is just going to be a huge mess. I could be wrong, but I don’t know.
I still think they’ll do fine with the campaign though.
Not confident at all. I’m going to borrow my brother’s copy to play campaign because I do enjoy Halo’s story quite a bit, but I won’t be buying the game or playing multiplayer. They’ve proven to me that they are terrible decision makers. Everything from building off of Reach to the newest news with specializations.
I think it’s safe to say this is the first Halo I won’t be purchasing.
I’m confident that they can learn from their mistakes.
Overall, Halo 4 is going to be 343s “test game”. This is their first shot at making a game with their own vision, so I except there to be some bumps along the way. But that’s normal. Having bumps initially makes the rest of the ride that much sweeter.

HOLY -Yoink-! Halo 4 was already released and you actually played it enough and tested everything and you know it sucks? Wow I’m missing out!
As of today’s news with specializations, I am quite worried on how 343 will implement them without the community freaking the -Yoink- out and going complete ape -Yoink-.

If you don’t like it, don’t buy it, don’t come here and complain if you think that Halo 4 officially sucks, I’m sure you have better things to do then come here and complain about a game you’re not going to buy.

And you know, I bet this guy is going to go back to the Flood and go “omg waypoint sux u guys.” Come on. At least have constructive criticism.
I think 343’s goal is the same as Bungie’s: to make a game they would enjoy playing and see if it sells. That’s how Bungie did it; that’s how America does it, and it’s worked out pretty well so far.
And besides, the Halo fanbase is so finnicky that they’re impossible to please. If 343 tried, they’d have the development cycle of Duke Nukem Forever and barely better reviews.

I don’t think you know enough about the company to make observations about the games.
What happened to the days where gamers looked forward to releases? Now all I hear is how X company sucks at making Y game, and that it will suck. Gamers are too entitled these days.
