Yes, it is still possible considering the only Hammer footage we’ve seen so far has been melee kills or enemies being crushed by the hammer, but no assassinations with it.

Something like the Chieftan did in ODST would be awesome. Like smack them into the ground, flip the hammer around and stab them with the blade.

This raises a question though: If they took time in the video to show off the new flashy Sword assassination, why didn’t they do the same for the Hammer? You would think this would be the perfect chance to showcase it. Oh well, hopefully there is one.
