This has been on my mind ever since beating campaign, why didn’t the ODSTs come back? It would have been wicked to see them destroy Prometheans.
Because the ODST’s joined the spartan program. not all but most of them would have.
ODSTs that were able and willing to receive the augmentations joined the Spartan IV program.
I remember that part but what about the ones that remained ODSTs.

Spartan IV’s were picked out of the best marines, and the ODST were one of the most elite forces in the military.

It did not say but many volunteers were mostly Marines, Army all that.

I remember hearing somewhere in the Broadsword mission on the radio that Earth had ODST’s standing by to assist the Cheif. Correct me if Im wrong about this, but Im pretty sure thats what I heard. 343i may have just decided that they didnt want to make a new ODST model.

S-IV were volunteers like the Orion project yes, I was just asking because I remembered Lasky saying they had ODSTs on standby. Unless those were the ODSTs who were good but not good enough to make the cut as a Spartan.

The best soldiers from all branches were picked, naturally the ODST’s come into mind as they were directly below spartans in performance.
