How come sliver team in the tv series gets black armor but we haven't had a true black armor color since halo: ce?

Black does exist in every Halo since Halo 3, you just had to go into match options to toggle it on. Same goes with Zombie Green color.

I also turned my brightness up to +10 and HDR up to 100 when taking those screenshots. It’s meant to make it easier to show details on dark items, but it does have the unfortunate side effect of making things seem more washed out than they actually are in-game.

Because they got to actually choose their armor colors. As where we’re forced to wait until they release a Coating that we have to pay for.

Even then it will probably have a patch of red or gold just to ruin the aesthetic.
