How come halo doesn't advertise much??

Going into gaming stores or electronic stores you notice like big posters of gears of war, or call of duty or even assassins creed.
I was talking to my friend the other day who loves halo but does not have internet and he didn’t even know there was Halo CEA coming out.

Halo does’nt really need to advertise like many other games, it relies on word of mouth as it’s got such a vocal community.

I think aswell Anniversary is aimed squarely at there fans, they’re not trying to gain new ones with this release?

Plus theres a month to go till release anyway, you can expect it amp up nearer the time.

i agree they dont need much adverts and honestly looking at cod gow see how they have SO MANY HUGE posters to me it makes them look desprete for sales

The only Halo game that didn’t really have a huge push was ODST and CE.

CEA isn’t getting that much coverage because;
-It’s a remake

  • Like ODST it’s more of a fan service than a full fledged sequel.
