This isn’t a hate thread, I like halo 4 and I appreciate 343’s work, I just always come on the forums askin questions and I’ve never ever had a answer from
A reliable resource (343) does anyone know why? Like is it just protocol for them not to post on certain forum sections?
They respond to what they feel they need to respond to.
I’ve seen lots of responses from them. I don’t know what you’re talking about.
If you mean they haven’t responded to a question you’ve asked them, that’s not really a surprise is it? They can’t respond to every question on these forums. They’d never have time to actually do their jobs.
But I pretty much make a thread everyday asking the same question and it never got any attention, neither has any other thread asking the same question. I feel that they should atleast say that there not commenting at this time rather then just pretending it doesn’t exist

They respond to plenty of threads. Maybe you’re just not asking the right questions or stating your opinions in significant enough ways.

Hah that’s funny, and no, the question is irrelevant the lack of communication is what the threads about… I thought that’s what forums where for guess I was wrong

The answer is simple:You need to mention “Pie” or else the topic is uninteresting.
On a serious note, like someone mentioned above, they cannot answer every post or thread.Since this is not the only feedback they pay attention to(i know, this is supposed to be the official forum)and they only really respond to things that would not a ruckus on the forums.In short they have to be careful on how they respond to the community, which of course does little except distance them from the community.
Though i’m sure that they will respond a bit more after the TU since allot of people will be asking questions that need answered.Not to mention that they to catch extra feedback on how people respond to the changes in the TU.So far we only heard about the friendly fire and boltshot, both of which were severe issues.Though, i am certain that the DMR nerf is in there as well since that is one of largest complaints about Halo 4 MM.
Now for the fact they are responding to you, that’s normal.You are not special in any shape or form and just accept that.Still, do not disregard that they have not read your threads/posts.Just understand that your words are like a blade of grass in a huge field and is hard to notice unless its thanks 100’s of times.Threads that are thanked a considerable amount catch attention much faster.

Context is key. They can only answer a question if they have an answer to give. I’m guessing the question they haven’t been answering is your question about DMR changes in the upcoming TU. In regards to a question such as that, details on the TU are not yet 100% finalised. Even then, they are not going to answer one users question on the matter, not when they’ve already planned when and how they will present such information. It will be detailed in a bulletin, closer to the date of the TU and only once the details have been finalised.
Really depends on your question. If it’s something that is asked in like twenty-billion threads before yours, they’ll just ignore it because there’s no point in answering the same question like twenty times over. Now, if it’s a big question that they can’t answer due to confidentiality, then you will also not get an answer. Then there’s the final reason. It’s such a simple question that they don’t need to answer it because a) it’s either common sense or b) the users on here could easily answer it correctly without 343’s confirmation.
I’ve had four replies from three different members of staff on one subject as of yesterday. Believe me, they’re listening to our every word.
They certainly aren’t going to respond to the general consensus that this game was a step backward. They do respond to some things, hopefully these are things they intend to improve upon.
They are not responding to things they have no intention of fixing. Hopefully they are working on making Halo 5 a better game.
It’s probably pretty hard to respond when the people complaining make a dozen threads complaining about the same things every single day.
343i does reply and they wanted to make this more obvious to forum users with the newest update to make it easier to spot a 343i employee with the 343i icon next to a thread name as well as the banner behind them.
Also, there are certain forums they are a little more active in from what I have personally noticed. You may get more answers by asking questions in the War Games feedback forums since that is the one place they are looking for H4 matchmaking feedback. Just make sure you ask questions that apply to the topic at hand!
