In 2007 for the hype of Halo 3, MS created a marketing campaign called Believe. In the campaign, there’s several soldiers retelling the story of the Battle of Earth, particularlly witnessing John. In 2610 (a letter included in the Reach Special Edition), a former ONI agent sent artifacts from the Fall of Reach to his cousin at the museum. So we know the museum is canon in some capacity. What I’m is how canon is the rest of the Believe campaign canon?

I think its fully cannon, but that doesn’t mean it’s accurate. I imagine it as sort of military propaganda that a civilian in the halo universe might see, so they embellished the details a bit.
