how can you turtle currently?

i have been trying really hard to turtle in 2s with a friend and recently i have had a hard time. any strategys or tips on how to super turtle now?

Good question, to me if you’re playing defensive in this game you’re already on the back foot.

Play Pavium, wait until you get the map Sentry, build Mega Turrets, Reavers, your hero, and maybe a couple Blisterbacks, enjoy!

what about 2v2s and 3s? any unit comps or strats or leaders

Don’t turtle. Fight me like a man.

But if you must, Serina, Anders, and Pavium are all exceptional turtles. The main things you should be building as UNSC are siege turrets, Kodiaks and wolverines, while with pavium you should be going mega turrets, blisterbacks and reavers. Camp under your cloaked shields and use Paviums stand when ever you deem it necessary.

I hate turtles, fight me like a man.

I mained Pav. MT was a really fun and lame way to rush. Build expo super close to enemy’s main base. Build Mega Turrets. Spam grunts and engineers. And if it’s 2’s. Make sure you have good back up. You turtle at the enemy’s front door.

thanks. im down to turtle just send me a message.

In 2’s (which is what I play) unsc leaders + marines and some snipers are pretty scary especially on defense right now. With air the way it is if you see your enemy going air you need like 4-5 wolves and then kodiaks and seige turrets until you can get tech 3 and go tanks/vultures depending on map/situation. You can check my game history if you want to see my builds (it’s still evolving as I have played my 10 placements so far). I know I had a really long game in there (I think it was 7 games agoon Fissures if you want to check it out).

Sorry, just saw this now.

Serina or Anders make a nice addition with their improved Kodiaks/Siege, but Pavium is the turtle king.

what about unit comps and leader combos for 2s 3s

just trying to get the purfect turtles for each map

Blisterbacks, reavers, wolverines, Kodiaks, siege turrets, shields, cloaking generators, pavium, serina, anders. Those 12 words are the keys to pulling off a successful turtle. I’m just going to let you know, if I see a pavium and a serina on the same team, we are doing a full house rush because I am not putting up with that nonsense.

Please, Don’t be “that guy”, but if you insist on doing it play pavium serina and anders, build artillery and anti air and abuse your leader powers.

P.S. I hope you disconnect :joy:

so i those are effective but is there any hidden gem leaders? i did one with arbiter and his cor heal is awesome at keeping his base alive
also curious is it better to have 3 sheild one cloak or 2 turrets 1 sheild and cloak

1 shield, 1 cloak, 1-2 watchtowers, 0-1 turrets. Most of the firepower should be coming from the blisterbacks.

Please don’t turtle, fight me like a man.

I find turtling to be fun and in certain circumstances effective. I typically go Andres and do 6-9 kodaks with sentinel beacon and the rest is wolves, how many you train is up to preference and playstyle

And then the game devolves into a never-ending nightmare.

try utilizing kodiaks and scouts.
