How in the world can anyone say that 343 fixed matchmaking with the last patch?!? Big whoop, you find people faster SOMETIMES. This game has absolutely glaring flaws.
Connections- I started playing this morning and have had at least one player lost at the beginning of most of my games played. Other times it takes people 5 minutes to load into the game. During that 5 minutes others are running around playing and scoring.
Balance- This is something that is destroying the game when you successfully get into a match or not. I was grouped against a team of 50’s and got absolutely destroyed. “We need to get more people playing matchmaking before ranking can be fixed” is a pathetic excuse. There needs to be a backup system that is not perfect but prevents this from happening. Multiple games have had the enemy team spawn killing us until the game ended.
In game mechanics. This is by far one of my biggest issues because it is a simple fix that is being ignored. 1. Vehicle collision with player. There have been times where I turbod into an enemy with a ghost and they only lost a shield or bounced off unharmed. Other times i was moving slow, tapped a teammate and killed them or took off their shield. 2. Vehicle deaths. I have only had this problem with ghosts, but I have had people one shot the ghost and it exploded. I had full health and the ghost was new and had no damage.3. Medals distribution. I’ve been trying to get triple doubles and constantly lose out on assist medals for no reason. These medals achievements are hard to get as it is, I dont need the game messing that up as well.
People need to stop defending 343 saying they are trying. The compensation they are giving people is an add on for the game that they are finishing now. How are they giving additions to the game if they haven’t solved all the problems with the original game!?! People should stop being victims and become outspoken consumers. This game is absolutely unacceptable in terms of a finished product. More people should be giving their opinions on this forum. Supporting and thanking 343 for minor fixes MONTHS after the game has already been released only tells them they are doing a good job. If everyone on these forums spoke out about how unhappy they are with this game, you’d see action taken much faster.
I dont know if i have the latest patch or not but I dont see how match making is fixed either. I STILL cant find any players on the lobby screen. I havent been promt to download any patches as of late so im assuming i do have the latest update. Come on 343 i wanna play some matchmaking for once . unless you totally screwed everyone in the -Yoink- from southeast asia region that would be really stupid considering the fact that there are alot of halo fans from this region. It would be a shame if you didnt include us in your servers. If I can play halo 4 and reach on xbox 360 then what the hell is wrong with the master chief collection?? For pitys sake I can play Bungies Destiny perfectly fine on xbox one with no connection problems i can get into a matchmaking battle in less than 2 minutes. Come on 343 ive been patient ever since the launch of this game .
I’m getting matches just fine And party stability is miles better, but if people are still having issues I sympathize
Totally Agree with u black magic 1968 this game is so broken I Carnt even play a game in halo 2 anniversary without being kicked out the game saying evey 1 has quit. And to be honest I don’t think 343 are that interested there more botherd about halo 5.

These past few days have been really fun what with random black screening that seems to affect only me. As if I’m specifically being lagged so I have to sit there and listen to someone walk up and kill me. This has never been an issue before, and it’s only happening with this game. Internet’s completely fine. Better than ever, even. It’s immensely frustrating to have the rare match with no one kicked, dropping out, or betraying get ruined by this crap. I find matches really quickly since the patch, but who cares if they are broken anyway?
Co-op online is still a mess as well. My friend and I have a fun timer in Halo 2 Anniversary. We only play until the legendary campaign mission suddenly freezes for no reason and kicks us back to the main menu. Often right before the end of the level, just to be extra frustrating. Both our connections are great. Zero lag. It just chooses to freeze. We keep trying because we love Halo.
Tolerating this game because I love Halo isn’t really cutting it lately.
