How can you make capture points?

I’m starting a little forging here and am having difficulty with capture points. The capture points I placed for invasion mode aren’t working. I’ve forged them under the category of invasion and even tried changing the team ownership of them but they still aren’t working. I would appreciate any tips on how to make fully functional capture points for invasion mode.

Have you checked the list of required gametype items on Bungie.net? It’s not as simple as it seems.

Apparently you need to make sure to set boundaries for the capture points.
