I just don’t seem to get it. How can people be excited when new armor that is the highest caliber of Rare is announced and released. ''Man I can’t wait to never get that armor!" I just don’t understand the excitement, can someone please explain?
Some people already have everything unlocked.
For the rest of us though…you’re completely right lmao.

A few things, the old crowd of player who didn’t care about this stuff is fast thinning as they get older and lose interest or less time to play. The newer guys want things to keep their grind focused, something to work for.
I’m an older player who likes cosmetic stuff within reason. A lot of the new stuff is butt ugly to me, I’m a classic guy, so when they announce something like the Mark V armor, or Halo 2 BR it is pretty cool for me. But I have zero interest in the Achilles Armor, it’s unrealistic and somewhat poor design from a military standpoint. But hey, whatever floats your boat.
maybe people are excited because it’s the next new thing to get?
Send this guy a picture of the Achilles Hemet. Better than Recon,Hayabusa, it’s b/a and the Req gods can’t give it to ya

I agree with you completely. When I see stuff like Achilles and all of these weapon skins, I’m completely unphased. But the Halo 2 BR? Now THAT is something that I want! But then, I’m reminded that the odds of me getting them any time soon are slim to none due to their Mythic rarity. And that’s when all of these silly things like pizza skins really annoy me, because I know that I have no choice but to get them on the road to having Mark IV and the Halo 2 BR.
Yeah I refuse out of principle to pay for REQs and it just becomes exhausting getting more and more which just means that your odds become increasingly unlikely to get anything.
I’m also old school Halo. I couldn’t give a tosh about new armor. I’m from Halo 2’s era. I was like…I just wanna play Halo…

Grinding out Silver Packs through Warzone Assault is starting to get tiresome.
I’m slowly running out of things to get
I’ve got like 20-40 ultra rares left then I’m onto just legendaries…
So I’m definitely excited for more stuff can’t imagine how excited the people who are 100% are for new stuff
I prefer having a life to having 100% stuff…

I completely agree with you
Ugh there are just too many reqs in the system, Ie been playing since the first week and i STILL dont have the rare req armor that I want. I’ve only purchased a couple of gold packs.
Can’t wait to receive the next batch of skins, armor variants and mongeese! So exited to grind games on end and then experience the thrill of opening those sweet packs! Pretty stoked about the number 12 emblem if you ask me. Another thing I can’t wait to experience again is selling things I don’t want one at a time - it’s so much fun listening to the addition of REQ points to your supply!
Some people have already unlocked everything. Just saying; You can always speed up the unlock process by buying them. (Req packs) . It’s an option for the impatient or if you just want all the armor without effort.
I would be far more excited if it were easier to get RP, it would make the grind a little more enjoyable.
One, I have unlocked all REQs and I’m looking forward to certain things, two, brings out new items even for other people.
I really want to use the blood of Suban. It seems like great fun do I want to use it a lot. That’s the highlight REQ item for me.
And a fun way to get REQ points is gather a crew and just war zone it out.

Currently on the Gold Pack grind. It’s cool getting UR and L drops but it’s kinda draining just getting armor most of the time. I refuse to let a session end without getting at least one gold pack, though.

I agree and have done it several times

This can be applied to all armor in the game including the Mark variants.
