Maybe take the ban time to learn to use punctuation.

When you lose connection to the servers, the system counts it as a quit, since it can’t tell the difference. Maybe you can try getting a better internet connection, because I counted SIX DNFs on your game history from today alone. And if you are really just quitting, and not losing connection, that’s ridiculous.

You can pay to get into an Amusement park, but if you are causing problems (i.e, Team killing, harassing players, quitting games), they have every right to throw you out without a refund.
Dropping connection is rarely their issue unless you see a concentrated group of people in a single area having the same problem. Out of the Hundreds of thousands of players on Halo, 1000 of those players might have faulting routers and modems. Another 1000 could have a locality issue via their ISP. Unless you see an entire region having the same problem it’s likely you or your ISP’s local server house.
Also there is a clear warning under each playlist that ban rules are in effect. Read.

Guess you haven’t seen this thread

it’s a known issue which 343i is working on with ISPs, tons of people lagging out and getting disconnected

Currently this is a wide spread issue. For future reference as to wither you paid for the game and believe you shouldn’t receive a ban. Purchase of a game is a non factor in the ban systems of multiplayer gameplay. You are not entitled to not receive a ban or any reason. Especially if you are going against the rules of which leaving a game is one. Leaving for any reason is considered Game ruining as the rest of your team also have the choice to stay or leave at their own risk. Most choose to stay in a game even if it is a lost cause because 1. Fear of ban, 2. They are sporting gamers and can take a loss like men (or women, if girl gamers really exist… lol trolls always saying they don’t o.o). I would highly suggest looking up the match making rules for each game you own so that you can follow them. To be fair though, The Disconnect issues are frequent and numerous at the moment and have been happening off and on since the release of Halo 5 but more recently it has been a larger issue since the start of the February season. It seems Arena’s are Messed up the most along with the REQ system access. Below are a list of current problems other players and myself are experiencing.

  1. frequent and random lags and/or DC’s from multiplayer.
  2. Requisition packs inaccessible. Seems that when attempting to access the system wither in game or game menu one cannot view A. Saved Req points. B. Req store C. earned req pack waiting to be opened. and D. Current collections like load outs and items from req packs.
  3. Game stats after a game. I myself have experienced all day yesterday at least (probably more than just the last 24 hours for others) that after finishing an arena or warzone game, You see the stats screen with a circle thing saying retrieving data and for me it sits there for 3-5+ minutes without being able to back out using “B”.
  4. Random an unfair bans. Have read some posts where most of the time the player being banned has stayed the whole game and it appears that the other remaining players drop connection randomly and said player is the only one still in it. Hence still receiving an unfair ban as a result. This may be something I would call desync. In another PC related game, Desync is when one players game state becomes corrupted or the game virtually splits in two. While all players who had originally joined are present and still in the game, some players cannot see where they are or, in some games, what character they choose. They can still chat in most cases with other players. But it is as if they are playing two different versions of the same game. So in Halo 5, if it seems most or all of the players in your game have dropped, it may just be you and your network or console doesn’t know it yet. Hence because it would result in you being the one who Disconnected and receiving the ban.

This is currently all the information I have gathered as a Fellow player at the moment. Unknown if or when these problems will be addressed or fixed. Hope my explanation on some of these issues sheds some light. Also it seems more of these issues are related to arena matchmaking but warzones are working just without req access.

I got banned 2 times the other night for “quitting” but under oath I swear that I was booted 2 times and told I quit. I have never seen such a fail in the system.

It was my evil twin brother! I Swear!

I love the people complaining “You can’t ban me, I’m a paying customer!”. You don’t know how wrong you are.
