How can we play campaign?

My question is;
When playing campaign alone will we have the choice of which member of the team we play as or do we automatically play as Chief and Locke?

Also my understanding when playing co-op is that you can just select which player you want to use… again if only 2 are playing is one of those players forced to Locke and Chief?

If anyone has clarification that would be great to know, also which character are you most looking forward to playing as? I’m pumped to enter the shoes of Spartan Kelly-087!

When playing solo you will always play as Chief or Locke.

When playing Co-op the host or party leader will always play as Chief or Locke, while other party members get to choose which Spartan they play as.

Basically. And playing as each different spartan gives access to different Loadouts

…and different HUDs.

You will always be given the option of playing either Agent Locke or Master Chief. If you are playing Co-op then the second player plays a different member of the team.
