Hey everyone, let’s make one thing clear, Halo Infinite has had the smoothest videogame launch any other game has had this year. I believe it’s important that we come together to acknowledge this, but it’s also important to critique everything properly.
First things first, the armor customization, amazing, love how we can get into every little detail on our character. BUTTTTT I feel like color of both your armor and calling card is important to an individual and their identity. These color kits are really cool, don’t get me wrong, but a basic mat pallet of colors would be epic.
Secondly there’s armor customization, like I said, it’s bananas we can change so much, but I feel we aren’t allowed that same, how do I say this without sounding cliche, Halo experience. There is no armor you can unlock via feats or general ranking. Not only that but, I don’t feel that double xp boosts or challenge swaps really constitute as, free content, it feels more like level-up rewards which sucks.
Challenges were something I did have an issue with. I think playing a game should grant you 75xp, it’s not too much, and it’s not too little. Plus, a second daily mission slot that rewards players for winning, granting a bonus 100xp, or something of the sort so gaining xp doesn’t feel like a crawl to the finish rather than a nice walk. Challenges should be selectable, out of all the weeklies you give, there’s much difficulty when it comes to getting them done when you have a set time available to you in your daily life to get them done.
does anyone else have any input???
