How can i turn my kd positive?

I want turn my kd positive, what is the best form to do this?

The only true method to turn someone’s KD positive is solely based on your performance; basically, you’re going to have to earn more kills in games and have less deaths as well.

So, i want now the best gametype to do it

no avoid grifball, that playlist is full of boosting losers. they’ll ruin your kd instead of making it better. play swat for best improvement in your kd

What I would recommend is for you to set up some custom Firefight games and find out which weapons you are good with. Set a game to heroic difficulty with unlimited ammo (Not bottomless clip) and modify loadouts to your liking. Practice in some games, and then once you are comfortable enough, start practicing in Anniversary Arcadefight with a friend and the search settings to the most strict (Since Firefight Doubles doesn’t exist anymore).

This way, you can get additional practice. Then when you are ready, move into Matchmaking, preferably Slayer or multi-team. Now that you know your weapons, you can learn strategy by pacing yourself in matchmaking. Don’t be they guy who just consistently sprays and prays giving the enemy team free kills, but in the same retrospect, do not the the guy who sits in the corner the entire game and gets one kill.

By pacing yourself, you can learn more about strategy from yourself and other people, what scenarios you want to take certain types of action or avoid certain types of action and in doing so become a better player. Another way to become a better player is to play with friends in matchmaking. Communication with your friends int matchmaking can also teach you new strategies you yourself may have never thought of and have clever strategies executed as an end result.

Keep in mind as well that in some games, the enemy team may be paired up in one party as a clan or a group of friends, so in some games the enemy team will be well coordinated. Those games you may not do as well, but it’s expected.

Unless you plan to play with a party of Grifball Enthuiasts or members of the AGLA, stay away from Grifball. People will spawncampkill you to ‘statpad’ (Boosting their K/D ratio) instead of playing the objective based gametype to score the objective, which will indeed ruin your K/D ratio even more.

As for Swat, during the Firefight games for practice, if you find yourself performing most effectively with a precision weapon, like a DMR or Needle Rifle, give SWAT a chance as well.

I am a Grifballer personally and I agree, many people boost and spawn trap their enemies and even their own team mates but Grifball is definitely the most over run game type with try hard inheritors who are only there to make their K/D amazing. So for now stay away from Grifball. Swat, however is a probably the best place to start. There are a lot players on there that are really good but like someone already said, just play smart not harder. In time your k/d will rise, and in moments fall but it’s very easy to keep a stable 15,000 kills over your deaths. You just have to focus and make sure that every game you play, you get more kills than death then slowly but surely your k/d will rise.

It sounds obvious but live. Don’t always fight without an exit. Don’t rush and team up with someone. Two guns can make you live longer. Test sensitivity too. You might play too high causing you to over shoot resulting in loss gun fights

Again, like I said before, it’s based on your performance solely, there isn’t a perfect gametype that will turn your KD positive in a moment’s time. What I would do however, is played around in as many gametypes as you can, test the waters with them, and what ever playlists you feel comfortable with, stick with them.

SWAT is fine, but you just need to make sure that you can hit those head-shots pretty frequently, Firefight can be a good method to help land more precious shots, as well as tweaking your look sensitivity; Grifball is a playlist that should be avoided unless you’re in a full party that wants to play together due to many boosters spawn-camping throughout the entity of matches to better their KD’s.

Thanks guys, now my KD is positive.

Okay so here is the common misconception. Grifball is a annoying gametype and many probably should stay away from it but you can avoid getting spawn trapped by getting better at it. I have been a hard core grifball player for almost 7 years straight and it really isn’t as bad as people make it out to be. I personally think Grifball is by far the most fun and yet competitive gametype at times. If you want to chill, you can, you want to score you can, you want to kill you surely can as well but you just need to train yourself. Like with me, I am not the best at grifball but I can probably beat or hold my ground against the greats. Everyone on here hates on grifball but man just try it out. Like all playlist, your first game might not be the best experience, but with time put into it, you will definitely get better at it and won’t have as much of a problem with it any longer.

Personally I have always found team slayer the best playlist to learn the game and how to move as a squad. Even now after 7 years, I’m still learning new things. People often miss this tip but crouching reduces recoil. Only do this when the opponent has no clear shot on you and when you haven’t been spotted. A few smart points here that I’ve seen. I can’t stress the exit point enough either.

I have tried out the gametype before and don’t get me wrong, I do love me some Grifball; unfortunately, that’s where a majority of boosters have gone to the current days of Reach. I not saying Grifball the gametype sucks or if you play Grifball you suck, it just happens to have a bunch of people in there that will spawn kill you if you’re not quick enough.

With that I agree with. With a game this old people try to find new ways to farm xp. That can’t be stop without the developers taking out something they wanted to keep, thus costing them thousands of dollars to fix.

It’s not the gametype, it’s the people that exploit the poor spawn setup to statpad via spawncampkilling and the performance bonus system via peace games for additional cR they are boosting and not truely earning and in doing so violating LIVE Code of Conduct. Kind of sucks when the whole opposing team and your three teammates work together and spawncampkill you the entire game either out of spite or to perform a peace game.

When I used to play and I came across this when trying to play Grifball, in every game it happened, all other seven players were reported for cheating, and were given a negative player review, usually choosing ‘Unsporting Conduct’ being the reason. These people who do this are cheating and they are griefing the game, ruining the gameplay experience intended by 343i and the quality of LIVE services in doing so.

The problem is not the grifball gametype, it’s the people who think the binding agreement of Code of Conduct doesn’t apply to them, so they can cheat at their gain and at other peoples’ expense. That is why I recommend people who truely want to play grifball play only with Grifball Enthuiasts or members of the AGLA (And those guys are good at Grifball, you can learn a bit from them) in a full party of 8.

Spawntrapping for several seconds for the sake of scoring the goal, completing the objective of the objective based gametype (After all, if you can score the objective, then why wouldn’t you?) is strategy and is legit, but spawncampkilling to statpad (Boost K/D Ratio), boost cR and commedations, perform a peace game, and/or grief a game is cheating and unsporting.

Your K/D is always positive. It cannot be negative. /thread

With Grifball it’s best to play it how 95% play it. Remember every player can report you even if you are playing according to the games development. I personally find every other game type extremely boring, and that’s why I love Grifball. It is the most enjoyable game mode. I don’t necessarily agree with even how I play in it but if I play it right, I get reported by the ones who are cheating and if I play it wrong, then still get reported by the ones who say I am cheating. It is actually safer for me to play how the rest do. But once I reach inheritor I am going to try my best to stay off Grifball and be a swat player, although I can’t stand the players in that either.
