How can I get 60 FPS?

My moniter is 60hz, and I was wondering how I can get 60 fps, I have good internet, the only time I get 60 fps is when I zoom in with a sniper. Help?

Get a better computer? (assuming that’s what you’re playing on)

It should be 60 fps all the time, the game is frame locked on both the PC port and Xbox port, and including the fact you need the minimum requirements to run the game in the first place, which is supposed to keep the game at 60fps with the lowest graphics setting, which is the same as the Xbox port.

I’m pretty sure you just don’t know what 60fps looks like.

The minimum is actually 30 fps, the recommended settings are 1080p 60fps.

Search up Game Requirements Lab on Google (click the first link) on the PC you are playing on (which I assume you are playing on considering Xbox One is locked at 60fps). They basically scan your hardware and tell you whether your PC can handle a game. If you want 60fps, you want your PC to reach all of the requirements for recommended or ultra settings. Hope this helps.

From 343: Simple, just don’t play H5 multiplayer in split screen.

There isn’t splitscreen…

It’s on Xbox which is why I am asking, because it’s confusing me.

Actually, I do know what it looks like, but the fact there are frequent small stutters it ruins my aiming. I am on Xbox

Seeing as how you’re on the Xbox, your framerate should be a constant 60FPS. Sometimes, some animations at a distance run at a lower framerate, but in general the game changes its resolution to always be at 60FPS. There are no settings to change, that’s just how it is.

If your having trouble aiming, it’s because the aiming mechanics in Halo 5 are bad. Try playing around with your dead zones and aim acceleration.

343 reportedly removed split screen in order to achieve 60fps. So, inversely, if you want to hit 60fps then don’t play split screen.

So yeah… That’s the joke… That 343 is full of -Yoink-
