How can i fix it? (network error

when i turn on the game, than i meet this massage and can’t join the network game.

“NETWORK ERROR
ERROR DOWNLOADING DATA
An error occurred while downloading the latest game
configuration data. Online features may be restricted. Do
you want to retry?”

yes / no

So, i pushed yes button but never be solved. just it comes up once again and again.

platform : windows 10
gamertag : starmonster8766
region : asia, korea

please help me.
(+ i did remove the game and reinstalled, but it didn’t work.)

We are currently investigating this issue and have built in additional events to debug this in the next update. We are still working on trying to fix this for you in the short term.

I have the same Problem just bought the game and cant play it online.
Are there any solutions yet?
Waited so long to buy the game cause i was scared it will be bugged at the start and now it still does not work?

Are either of you familiar with Fiddler? To really understand what is going on here, we need a Fiddler trace to identify why the balance patches aren’t actually making it to you.

Crescent, can you give yours another go? Some other users are reporting their issue was resolved.

If you are having this error, can you run a trace route?

Please run this command and private message me the results…

  1. Go to the Cortana/ Search bar
  2. Type in ‘cmd’ and select ‘Command Prompt’
  3. Enter the command: ‘tracert content.halocdn.com’

And try to download this file through your browser and save it somewhere…

Once its downloaded, you can delete it, but it will show whether the server has the file for you or not.

alright i did the trace route in CMD and it failed 2 outa 10 times to connect

i downloaded the file but i dont know what to do with it

Can you Direct Message me the Trace Route?

You can delete the file, as it was checking if you could actually directly download the file that is blocking you. Being able to download it, shows there is no problem between you and whichever CDN you are being assigned to for your region.
