How can i cross from what part of the map to another?

Im stuck at the tower area and need to go to the dig site north on map, but the map is divided and cant cross it.

Any tips how can i move to there?

I fast travel to the north base but cant get out of it to go south to dig site

if you fallow the road to the caism, there is a bridge that crosses it

You can see unfinished bridges on the map if you zoom in. They will usually extend when you get there
