Hi
I’m on my Xbox looking at Halo Anniversary on the Marketplace. The problem is there is no option to purchase and download it.
I really want this game, is there something I’m overlooking or is it misplaced in the games on demand section?

It’s not available on the marketplace yet.
The game is not in the Marketplace and there are no plans to release it on download. Buy the game on a local store and ta-da.

Go to your local Game distributor.
The original Halo Combat Evolved is on the marketplace, maybe you are getting confused with that? But yeah, this remake is not available for download yet, so you’ll have to make a trip to the shops, or buy it off Amazon or something if you don’t want to get off yer rump!
Ebay’s best option if it’s not on the marketplace and you already have the game. Look for sellers that are good rating like 99% or higher feedback. You don’t want to bid you want to buy it now. Once you’re done buying it from the seller contact the seller right away and ask them for the code by email. It’s best you do that because 1. You’re on your XBox and want the code typed in soon as you get it 2. Want it to be sure it’s legit from the seller. Once you get the map after redeeming the code you can leave the seller a good feedback. I had to do this option in Dec because I didn’t have the money for CEA at the time due to XMas. I got CEA weeks later when I did have the money. I played CEA from Blockbuster as a rental and saved all my progress when I played the game. They sell em’ cheap at your local McDonalds.
All games on XBOX 360 have a game page on XBOX Live, but not all games necessarily have a Games on Demand version. You were looking at the Halo Anniversary page, not the Games on Demand page.

Well, if you take 20 or 30 bucks and take it to your local game shop, they will give you a copy for it! Isn’t it amazing how things work out sometimes?! Sorry, I can’t tell if you are trolling or not.
bummer. i’m trying to collect all the halo games on my xbox and halo ce anniversary,halo 3:ODST,and halo 2 are the only ones i cannot get. PS:i already have the discs,i just want to download them so they will never break or scratch.
You have to buy the disc. It’s not available on Games on Demand.
