I would really like to become on, as I am very interested in regulating the waypoint streets, and try to help make a difference. I see so much negativity and comments being made to other people, and I just want help. How can I become one?

I thought you were referring to the Spartan 1337, from Halo Legends. lol.
However, OP, its a selection process. You have to be on the forums for quite some time and need to have positive, detailed posts. There should be a thread stating the rank but thats all i know.

Do you know what ‘1337’ means? It equals ‘leet’. ‘Leet’ is slang for elite; something reigning supreme, being exceptionally awesome, accomplishing feats, etc.
He used ‘1337’ to mean all the things I listed. While its meaning is not directly what I stated, it was what he was referring to.
You just be yourself. If you are looked at as a potential mod, then you will be called upon to serve. I think if you are looked at as a potential mod, they make you a Superintendent and then a Monitor. Not sure how the process works myself.

You’re ready…
First you need chocolate. LOTS of chocolate. (You’ll see why later)
Then cats. (Also for later)
Then fancy underwear. (That’s just for comfort)
Then you need a secret stash of animated gifs with which to entertain the other moderators. You must achieve 3.2 GPS (giggles per second) with at least 2 moderators present and viewing one of these Gifs. You have 3 chances to achieve this, and if you fail, you will never become a mod. Ever. We take our Gifs seriously.
After that, you’ll need to successfully defeat Tarp in 1v1 slayer using only a magnum. Tarp will have a pre-TU boltshot.
Following this, the moderators will place the candidate in the box. What the box contains is not important. Stop asking questions.
If you manage to survive the box, you will face the final test: you must get bs angel to wear deodorant. She will laugh at your feeble attempts in alien tongues. This is suicide.
If you survive, you get to find out what the cats and chocolate are for.

A composed being of avarice? Orange is this one. Shall we confine it to a single body and force it to lurk within Waypoint as a means of control?
Back to the OP. I honestly don’t know, despite the evidence to the contrary may say. What I do know is that communities are best when people want to be a part of them. Wanting to be a positive member of Waypoint is the first, if only step of becoming a moderator.
And being positive does not mean you kiss 343i’s butt. You can be very critical of 343i and/or Halo as long as you respect others while doing so. Doing that makes you a valued member.
But you want to be a positive member? While you give your opinions here and there, help others out when you see the oppourtunity arise. Coach others on how they express themselves if they are out of line, and regardless of your stance on a subject… Do unto others and all that jazz.
I love the amount of Mods that are cracking jokes.
