I noticed that Halo 5, like Halo 4, doesn’t seem like it’s going to have a compass.
I know I can’t be the only one who used the crap out of the Reach compass for callouts. Anyone?

Given all parts of a map are given names by default in Halo 5, I don’t think it’s really needed.
compass? remind of what that is,
Well yeah, but if you’re inside one of those parts, and someone runs around a wall, how would you let your teammates know? “Guy just ran around a wall thingy at the garage”. In my opinion it’s just so much easier to identify direction they’re in relative to that part of the map.
I honestly had to google that. I did not remember that at all.
All the parts of the map have names shown above the radar. No need to have a compass…
oh sorry i got really confused as I’ve forgot the hud even had a compass that why i got confused as to what compass you meant, but yeah all areas have callouts so there really is no need
One would still be very helpful if you’re inside a area. Or see a person in an area that you don’t know the name of.
Or someone could very easily be in the northern part of an area, where a compass would easily help tell your team exactly where they are, rather than a random spot in some area.
If I remember correctly Reach identified areas right?
