How Big Is The UNSC Infinity Compared To POA?

Is it me, or does the Pillar of Autumn seem like it is the same size, if not bigger, then the UNSC Infinity? Especially when you do the warthog run on The Maw, it takes almost 5 minutes to drive inside the POA, and that’s not even the whole ship! Plus, the hangars are big enough to fit a Longsword in it with extra room. And then when you compare the size of a ship that is the same as the POA to the Infinity, it looks so small. How can this be?

The POA could launch Pelicans.

Infinity can launch Frigates.

But then if you look at the POA in Reach, it looks like you could walk that distance in five minutes. Maybe the two POA’s just aren’t scale to scale with each other

think of it like this Infinity is the LARGEST UNSC space vehicle plus like the guy above me said it can launch freaking frigates now just put that in your mid also they’re still a ton more room for the Spartan 4’s and marines so yea I would say alot bigger

The UNSC Pillar of Autumn is 1.17 kilometers or 3,800 ft.

The UNSC Infinity is 5.69 kilometers or 18,682 ft.

And for note, the warthog run on CE did not coincide with the length of the ship. See: Warthog Run

Yea, canonically it is supposed to be. But Bungie was always of the mind “make something cool, then build a game around it”.

The Pillar of Autumn is only 1.17 kilometers, but the Warthog run is 3 kilometers from about a third from the front of the ship.

That’s what confused me. Thanks for clearing that up

UNSC INFINITY
CLASS: Infinity
REGISTRY: INF-101

A warship unparalleled in human innovation, UNSC Infinity is easily the largest and most powerful vessel ever employed by Earth. Although it was originally designed to contend with the Covenant, the war’s end recommissioned Infinity for peaceful exploration and research – until it discovered the Forerunner world of Requiem and was mercilessly pulled into the maw of the planet. Now, the fate of Infinity and its crew is inexorably tied to that of the Master Chief, as the ending of a 100,000-year story finally takes shape.

UNSC FORWARD UNTO DAWN

Classical light frigate design, the UNSC Forward Unto Dawn is most renowned for its service on the frontlines in defense of Earth and its pursuit of Covenant forces through the Forerunner portal at Voi. There, the Dawn fought alongside a renegade Sangheili fleet and defeated the Covenant, ultimately bringing an end to the war. Unfortunately, upon its return to Earth, the ship was rent in two while passing through a collapsing slipspace portal, sending the fore of the vessel back to Earth, while the aft section, containing the Master Chief and Cortana, absently floated in uncharted space for years.

UNSC Pillar of Autumn, not UNSC Forward Unto Dawn.

Stick five PoAs end-to-end. That’s the Infinity.

One thing. How big is the Infinity compared to a Orbitial Space Platform?

If you’re talking about the MAC stations from Halo 2, from top to bottom one of those stations are 1.33 kilometers.
