How big forge could get.

Forge has been growing at a very fast rate. it started off as a small sandland with a small sky box and a reasonable sized ground and underground. it eventually evolved into a section of a halo ring where your creations could stretch freely and room was not a caution. now we have been introduced to multiple maps that are larger than forgeworld. each containing different weather patterns and landscape. It will certainly be the best forging experience yet and our Ideas will be exploding. this will also lead to the invention of many new community creations.

Well what if that forging experience could get larger so much larger it could be big enough to sustain life. thats right an entire planet. just imagine the experience if you had an entire world to work with.

Whats your guys take?

  1. Large maps like those are stupid and a waste of space. Seriously what would I need an entire planet for?
  2. No, the maps are smaller than forge world (thank god).

An entire planet for exploration. for the right spot to create your map. switch things up. it would create alot of diversity.

Creating one large map is a pointless waste of resources that could go towards more important features of Forge, like texture swapping.

There are no functional maps that take up even half of forgeworld, so why would we need a larger map?

actually, larger maps able to hold things like player made ships that are also a large part of the community is nice. I’ve made a few myself, and I have to say leaving room for the ship and the base we’re assualting is nice thing to have.

how does giant frigate battles sound for ya

honestly, if it actually worked correctly that sounds great. Infact, I hope we get legitimate space warfare. At lest, better then Reach’s -Yoink- of a scrap job.

Eh, Halo isn’t about that. If I wanted that, I’d play Battlefront II. That’s what that game was about.

Halo is better with small-sided hybrid-arena games and maps. FW is fine as it is, just with a bit more diversity and some new tools to help forgers.

Honestly, Forge to me is most held back by framerate, preventing some cool aesthetics, half of Reach’s pieces and long sight lines.

Fix that, give us more aesthetic options, a few more pieces/object limit, few tools and I think that’s the best Forge we could practically have.

I was thinking that if forge got big enough you could construct your own vehicles. now that would be the ultimate forging experience
