I have used them only when I find them dropped from a dead player, and they are so great to use because of the range. I can’t wait to unlock one at least.
I just was curious how useful they have been to anyone that has one?
I always use a sentinel BR in Warzone, gotta say I find it very useful, you have to get used to the extra zoom but I think it’s very good, I would recommend it

Yeah it threw me off first time I used it. Do you remember what SR you were when you unlocked it? Also I can only imagine how deadly a Sentinel DMR would be.
I hate it! I really don’t like the way you have to zoom in and out again to get out of the first scope. Makes the gun so much more tedious to use that I’m not sure it’s even worth the extra zoom. I tend to just use the standard DMR and BR so that I’m in good practice for Arena.
I feel like the sentinel BR/DMR scope’s range exceeds the gun’s use. Like it’s not all that practical for those type of weapons due to how many shots to kill. Also, is it just me or do Sentinels handle much slower than standard and longshot?
Anyway, in Reach and Halo 4 I was all about the DMR, now I LOVE the longshot BR.

I never really considered that it would confuse when using a normal DMR/BR, good point.

I actually don’t have much experience with the longshot.
I absolutely hate the glare on the sentinel scope.
Longshot scope is much more comfortable. Question I would ask: how does the recon DMR handle?

Don’t know about that one either, can’t wait to unlock more variants of the BR and eventually unlock even the standard DMR. I only have the standard BR and the Classic BR with Kinetic Bolts currently.

They will come, much sooner than the DMRs
At first I hated the Sentinel BR. Now that I’ve adjusted to the annoying glare, it’s my go-to. (Well, it was until I unlocked the H2BR last night 
Haven’t unlocked the DMR variant, but can’t wait to do so…
I don’t have The Sentinel DMR but I have 2 Sentinel BRs. they are good on maps Noctus and StormBreak. there is no need for them on the other two maps. I use them until I unlock my DMR at req level 6. Once that is unlocked I can rack up kills with my DMR. The DMR feels almost identical to me to the ones in prior games. Because of that I tend to be better at landing shots.
I perfer the longshot BR and DMR. I don’t use the sentinal BR unless I’m shooting at the west or east armory from the spire, or the other way around.

It’s not just you, sentinels do seem slower than my longshot, and my longshot feels slower than standard or classic to me. Maybe its just mental but i never use any of my sentinels

double tap y (weapon swap button) my friend. Problem solved. I do that even when the scope only has one zoom range.

Yeah, since most of my engagements are close to mid, faster handling seems more important to me. Some of time I just go standard. Like someone above mentioned, I don’t want the fancy warzone weapons to throw me off my game in arena.
If I want to defend a base like an armory, garage, or spire I use a normal br anything else, outside combat, monument, fort I use sentinel you dont need to zoom it but when you do you can win a lot of long range fights because you have the longer scope
sentinel stabilizer br is pretty damn powerful
