They are fun to do but what if you were rewarded with points that could get you a new type of knife, or to shorten the time needed to assasinate a target? Let’s say you first started playing the game, and after 5 totals assassinations, you get a new move that removes 2 seconds off of your future kills? Or by giving you a dagger that looks noticably longer/more curved?
Away from that now, how about a way to counter assassinations? I know it sounds stupid, but hear me out: when someone gets you from behind, you have to rapidly tap the B button extremely fast to repel them, not to kill them instead? This way, if you know it’s coming and there’s no time to turn around, you can still fight them. In Battlefield 4, you would turn your death into the death of your opponent, but here instead, you would just punch/kick them back and then as you re-enter 1st person, your face to face with your attacker.
Thoughts?
Sounds neato but also extremely complex to execute.

It doesn’t have to be. I feel like this in-game feature could add to the overall experience in the game. How many times have we all been assassinated by someone who got lucky or was just camping?
there is a simple trick to help preventing assassinations. When you notice someone one your radar, who tries this, always turn left. The area where you can hit someone for an assassination is from the left side of the back to the right shoulder.
helps in some cases if the ping agrees
If you tap the button it takes a fraction of a second to work.
Add in WWE finishers and they would be instantly better. Give us an RKO or a Stone Cold Stunner!

Counter-assassinations? That would legitimately be the nail in the coffin for ninjas (as if ground pound wasn’t the death of it already). It is already hard enough to get an (animation) ninja, why should there be a counter for it?

There should be a counter for it because an assassination on an elite super soldier shouldn’t be so easy. Hell, I hate the ground pound and want it taken out completely. A soldier floating around in mid-air is ridiculous.

The way I’m suggesting it, you have to respond immediately, one press out of step and the enemy kills you. Maybe instead of an easy to reach button, perhaps make it harder by making it the grenade-button?
In battlefield you could counter a hit to the front only if i recall correctly. Assassinations can only be done from behind, just like battlefield your tags are going in that situation.
I like the way assassinations are right now
Something other than that as that it much too complicated. Maybe something along the lines of being able to stay off the radar or stay invisible while assassinating.

Maybe if you successfully do one, you could get invisibility?
