How are you supposed to play Halo with people when people are just mean picking fights with everyone or just don’t talk and don’t play with others. First of all, I’m reporting you for being a negative Nancy and talking trash because your team is not good or your raging because you can’t play right. Raging makes it worse. Second, the people that don’t talk and have a mic, you are just boring. Your making the game boring yourself. Maybe someone will say, " I like you, I am going to add you as a friend " or " your a good player I am going to add you so we can link up again". Instead there is just alot of negative people in halo 5 injecting their poison into the halo community. I don’t care how good you are, your not a good community player and I hope you play halo alone.

You join solo and invite good players until you have a full lobby. Works every night until you have a nice active and skilled friends list. Wasting your time on reporting people all day is just silly imo. I play xbox to play games not to report people on a subjective matter that I’m probably not right about.
With no lobby before or after the game there’s really no way to meet people like you could back in Halo 3. Nothing was better than sitting in the lobby chatting with randoms about their file share, or what games/maps you were going to veto or vote for. Nowadays there isn’t a lobby and most players are in a party chat or just don’t have a mic.
One of the best things about Halo was finding like minded fans and enjoying the game together. I feel like the social aspect of Halo has been slowly removed from each new installment. Especially so with 5 not having split-screen, but that’s an entirely different thing. The only thing you really can do is just invite randoms from the teams you’re winning on and hope they’re cool mature people.

Join a Spartan Company. Trust me, I used to solo queue all the time but nowadays I pretty much always have people to play with cause my Spartan Company is stacked. try and find one thats chill, not one that’s like “WE NEED ACHILLES” or “You must play at least 70 hours a week and get ranked in all Arena playlists” cause they r probably way too serious
Keep checking the recruiting forum in waypoint or join a Spartan company. Invite players if you come across any that you enjoyed playing with.

Have you tried inviting them? Maybe they’ll talk to you if you add them as a friend or invite them to your party. Obviously, not everyone will accept, but that’s why you just have to keep trying.

I rage, and you know why? Because I sit at the top of the leaderboard with 20 kills and 5 deaths, better than both my team and the enemy. Yet we lose the slayer match, and you know why? Because not only does my team not communicate but there is always that one guy at the bottom of the leaderboard on my team that goes 2 and 20.
I even raged earlier, not because we lost the match, but because my teammate literally ended the game with -1 kills and 10 deaths, solely because he decided to swap weapons all day to get free RP without trying. While I and my teammates on the other hand had +10 kills each with me being the second best in the lobby other than some guy who destroyed my teammates. Seriously, it’s not always the ragers fault that he rages.
I never rage on teammates. Because that dummy that just went 3-15. He played horrendous and was by far the worst player on the team and clearly the reason you lost.
Ive been that guy. It sucks and it isn’t fun. To have to hear about it after the game just makes you want to quit for the night.
This is why I only really play with my SC. If I’m ever that guy it’s cool cause we’re all chill old dudes who don’t take the game too seriously and the next one is bound to be better.
Weve all carried our teams or lost games for them. If you want to get on the mic and help a guy out who is obviously tilted and playing dumb do so. Call him back, support the player so he can come out of it and get his game going again. Tell him when he’s alone and where to push. But don’t freak out on him/her post game.
Also as far as finding players. There’s mm sites. Spartan companies are a big add to halo and one of the reasons I’ve liked halo so much. some of the old clans that have been around since halo 2/3 are still around too. Join something.

Welcome to typical Halo Matchmaking, a LOT of people lone wolf, and are not good at the game, but still do it anyway on EVERY HALO GAME EVER! Look at Reach, look at Halo 3, hell look at Halo CE on MCC!
