Mostly, because you don’t know jack squat about me. But also, because you seem to believe that what’s been done so far is “adequate.”
This game was released in an unfinished state. Forget the content, forget maps, armor skins, and all that other bs. This game is suffering from fundamental coding problems that have not been addressed or appear to be a priority. A priority would be dropping everything else and working to fix these issues first.
That being said, 343 hasn’t completed a narrative arch yet since taking over from Bungie. So forgive me if I would rather see results rather than lip service.

It’s not that they’ll never be happy. It’s the that we’re hardly getting the bare minimum. I know this generation is going to be a slow one because of covid, but let’s not beat around the bush.
Fans were expecting a completely different game. A finished game. We just keep getting bits and pieces. This isn’t a case of high standards, this is the case of a ball 343 keeps fumbling.
My only wish is if they are making 6 month long seasons, could they not at least have an intern on the side making 2 more new maps over 3 months and drop 2 more maps mid-season? Please?
Or, and a big or here, let one of the more prominent Forgers testing the Forge system cook up 2 new maps for you. Pay them a decent commission and let them make maps for you.

Another 6 month wait for the game to get closer to what some of the previous entries in the series launched with is going to be pretty rough, no two ways about it.

It’s a joke how the roadmap says new maps. It’s 1 arena map and 1 btb map that the game should have had at launch. Not everyone plays arena and btb so its really 1 new map only for a lot of players. Even with these 2 new maps there still aren’t many maps in the game.

So Co-op, which they said will make here “at some point” in S2, will be hear in August, the end of S2 if S2 was only 3 months. Cool…
Honestly, how has anyone waiting for campaign co-op not been spoiled yet? It’ll be 8-9 months.

Like they seriously couldn’t have told us this a month ago? I assumed that since they were waiting all this time, they had something good up their sleeve. Were they not even confident they could meet these deadlines?

I don’t even have to read it because this forum shows how bad it actually is. More delays, as if that wasn’t expect.
Maybe if the game had a competent developer that actually cared about the game instead of only theIr wallet, we might have had something. The game will be in beta mode for a freaking year.
This is literally the worst Halo release in Halo’s history and it keeps getting worse, so great job higher-ups, you really know how to manage a game that you should be working at McDonald’s.

I was glad to see the Forge open beta being confirmed.
I had a gut feeling that we were going to get one ahead of the full release of the mode, or at least some kind of flight, but that part really captivated most of my attention.
Seems SaulGood to me. I don’t take game playing seriously at all, ever. So all this pearl clutching over lack of features, seasons, forge, battle passes, bugs, ad nauseum doesn’t make much difference to me. I play fiesta every day and have a good time. No thinking or skills involved, just play. It’s what I like.
