How are we feeling about the new roadmap? It's a No Bueno for me

I think it’s a miss in my book. Had the roadmap been released before the season 2 info dump? I mean I might have taken this better, but it’s not looking good.

I’ll still hop on just to get a feel for it, but it doesn’t look like I’ll make it to November 7.

The new playlists should be fun if desync somehow decides not to be a -Yoink-. I do genuinely think this roadmap should’ve been released much earlier.

Is there a Waypoint article on it? I’m banned on Twitter so I can’t follow the link.

Personally I’m juuuust getting bored of S1. Co-op campaign and open forge beta should hold me for the back half of S2. A three month season would be more preferable. But I’ll survive personally.

While I understand the “policy zero,” all it sounds like to me is that 343 doesn’t have the staff to adequately support the game as is. That’s a big problem.

Yes there is a Waypoint article.

Yup. That’s why Certain Affinity is “deepening” their relationship with 343.

Unfortunately, they are “deepening” their relationship in the wrong way by pumping out a BR instead of focusing on completing most of the core features BEFORE moving on to a Battle Royale.

Funny enough, there’s no mention of the BR from the roadmap.

That’s a good point. I need to look at it again because I wonder what part of it (if any) would be the Certain Affinity part?

I think the expectation is S3 at the earliest, so it wouldn’t be included at that this point, since it appears this is stuff they “hope” to get out during S2.

Hope being the operative word considering the fan unrest that’s about to be hit them if season 2 disappoints.

Bruh, the ‘fan’ unrest is already here because the devs are putting their health & wellbeing first. They’ll never be pleased.

Geezus, give it a rest will you?

That’s not true for majority of fans.

This isn’t the way things were supposed to be. We’re facing an industry-wide slow down with very few games being worth while.

They didn’t expect Halo to get hit as hard as it did. They’re disappointed and frustrated. That doesn’t mean they’ll never be happy with the game. It just has to get better. Then they’ll be happy.

I think its great. What don’t you look about it other than feeling its “late”?

Well, what do you like about it, because half of it is subject to change, and I highly doubt if it does change its going to be an “early” release. It’ll be going the other way…

what do you like about it

New armor looks sick
Fracture armors look sick
Love KoTH and Last Spartan standing look fun

plus we FINALLY get forge and online co-op

We got a lot of what we asked for so why be sore winners about it? 343 deserves commending for the turn around

We don’t get forge…we MIGHT get a forge beta, so that’s out.
KOTH was a base game type, released with every previous title day 1, so getting it now is frankly not a plus its pathetic that it has taken this long to release.
Co-op is tentatively scheduled for August, but could and lets be honest, probably will get delayed again.

It’s not even a roadmap lmao

And I do commend them for that. However, we still don’t have an update on the progression system.

I know it’s season 2 but if the really good armor ends up being in the back again, I’m not gonna be a happy camper.

Mark 7 should’ve been an easy unlock, but that’s neither here nor there. The entire battle pass system doesn’t play very well with me.

I’m used to traditional rank up progression and Halo Infinite needed to have that yesterday.
